Märkte du av Kursutvärderingskampen tidigare under våren? Alla utbildningsföreningar hade chansen att vinna, men det var slutligen CNaS som tog hem det. Kolla gärna in föreningarnas bidrag (du hittar deras sociala medier här (Kalmar) och här (Växjö)), och påminn dina klasskamrater att fylla i kursvärderingen efter kursens slut!

Är du SSO? Håll utkik i din mejl! SFS (Sveriges förenade studentkårer) kommer att släppa en handbok för studerandeskyddsombud framöver och vi kommer givetvis skicka den till dig när vi får den, och länkar till den från vår hemsida.

Här planerar vi att dela med oss av sådant som är aktuellt på alla fakulteter, men för det behöver vi din hjälp. Har det hänt något där du är representant som du vill dela med dig av? Hör av dig!

På institutionen för design vid fakulteten för konst och humaniora har beslut tagits att programmet Visual communication + change ska flytta till Växjö. Studenterna som har sökt till campus Kalmar kommer att stanna i Kalmar, men på längre sikt kommer programmet inte längre att finnas kvar där.
Eftersom många av de studenter som engagerar sig i ESN Kalmar läser Visual communication + change finns risk att flytten påverkar föreningen negativt och då även internationella studenters möjligheter att engagera sig i studentlivet i Kalmar.

You are getting this newsletter because you are a student representative (strepp) or a student safety representative (SSO) at Linnaeus University.
This term has gone unbelievably fast for us, with the Spring dialogues taking up the first few months and then the student union election on top of that. We're confident that you feel the same way and hope that you are at least almost done with this term. We don't want to add to the stress, so in this message, there are no requirements. But hopefully, you'll find something enjoyable here when you take a well-deserved break.

Did you notice Kursutvärderingskampen (The Course Evaluation Challenge) earlier this spring? All the educational student associations had a fair chance to win, but in the end CNaS took home the title. Check all the contributions in their social media here (Kalmar) and here (Växjö). And remind your buddies to fill in the course evaluation at the end of the course!

Here we are planning to share current issues from all faculties, but for that we need your help. Do you want to share something that has happened where you are a student representative?

At the Department of Design at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, a decision has been made to relocate the Visual Communication + Change programme to Växjö. Students who have applied to the Kalmar campus will remain in Kalmar, but in the long run, the programme will no longer be available there.
Since many of the students involved in ESN Kalmar are enrolled in Visual Communication + Change, there is a risk that the relocation will negatively affect the association and, consequently, the opportunities for international students to engage in student life in Kalmar. |
The translated Guide for student representatives and student safety representatives is meant to be used as an encyclopedia but should not be confused with SFS:s upcoming Handbok för studerandeskyddsombud. If you want to get more out of it, we recommend our education for student representatives during the fall, although dates are not set yet.
