Utbildningsbevakare Eric träffar i mars-april fakulteterna och NLU för att diskutera utbildningsfrågor. Detta kallas för vårdialogerna. Inför de mötena vill vi gärna ha dina synpunkter som underlag.

SSO står för studerandeskyddsombud och företräder studenterna i frågor om fysisk och psykosocial arbetsmiljö, t.ex. genom att påtala brister och delta i skyddsronder. Ansvaret för arbetsmiljön ligger dock hos universitetet.

Strepp är vår förkortning för studeranderepresentant och innefattar alla studententer som är tillsatta till programråd, beslutsmöten och andra organ. En strepp kan vara student på grundnivå, avancerad nivå eller forskarnivå.

Under hösten har vi uppdaterat strepphandboken och du finner den numera på vår hemsida. Handboken är tänkt att användas som ett uppslagsverk, men vill du få bättre koll på den rekommenderar vi vår strepputbildning.

Är du SSO? Håll utkik i din mejl i februari! SFS (Sveriges förenade studentkårer) kommer nämligen att släppa en handbok för studerandeskyddsombud då. Vi kommer givetvis att skicka den till dig när vi får den, samt länka till den från vår hemsida.

Dessa regler gäller endast studeranderepresentanter på grundnivå och avancerad nivå. Studenter på forskarnivå kompenseras vanligtvis med tid.
Det har under hösten skett lite förändringar kring arvoderingen, och vi vill därför gå igenom vad som gäller. Genomgången är uppdelad i tre delar: 1) arvodering för möten fram till och med 2022-09-30, 2) arvodering för möten från 2022-10-01 till och med 2022-12-31, 3) arvodering för möten från och med 2023-01-01. Har du redan skickat in arvoderingsblanketter för hösten kan du bortse från de två första, för ekonomiadministratörerna bör ha hört av sig om de tyckte att det var ett problem.
Har du inte fått utbetalningar från universitetet tidigare måste du först registrera dina kontouppgifter. Du hittar instruktioner för det lite längre ner på den här sidan, under rubriken "Löneutbetalande bank" (på den sidan hittar du även alla blanketter).
1) Ladda ned arvodesblanketten (Excel).
2) Under Typ av uppdrag väljer du alternativet ”Upp till 4 tim. stud.repr” som finns nästan längst ned. ("upp till 4 timmar" gäller alltså möten upp till fyra timmar, men vid längre möten används istället alternativet "Heldag minst 4 tim stud.rep.")
3) Under Antal anger du antal tillfällen (om upp till fyra timmar) och inte antalet timmar.
4) Spara och skicka den ifyllda filen till ekonomiadministratören på berörd fakultet med kopia till den som varit sammankallande för gruppen/organet. (Kontakta representant@linnek.se om du är osäker på vem som ska ha den.)

Vi rekommenderar att du fyller i blanketten direkt, och lämnar in den direkt när månaden har tagit slut (har du varit på möte under februari och lämnar in blanketten senast 5 mars kan du få ditt arvode i slutet på mars).

Observera att SFS inte kommer att hålla i några SSO-utbildningar eller nätverksträffar under VT23. Vi hänvisar till den kommande SSO-handboken samt SFS:s Slack-kanal #sso-nätverk-för-studerandeskyddsombud, samt utbildningsbevakare Eric som också är huvudstuderandeskyddsombud.

Det finns nästan alltid intressanta poster att söka om du vill engagera dig mer och lära dig mer om universitetets olika funktioner. Just nu söker vi framför allt studeranderepresentanter till:
- de flesta programråd på fakulteten för hälso- och livsvetenskap
- många utbildningsråd och prefekters beslutsmöten på fakulteten för samhällsvetenskap
- handledarkollegiet för natinalekonomi och statistik på fakulteten för ekonomihögskolan
- enheten för forskarutbildning på fakulteten för teknik
- många prefekters beslutsmöten på fakulteten för konst och humaniora
...och studerandeskyddsombud till:
- samtliga fakulteter (då vi ska återställa systemet och entlediga samtliga SSO)

SSO stands for student safety representative and represents the students in matters of physical and psychosocial environment, e.g. by pointing out issues and participate in security rounds. However, the responsibility for the work environment lies with the university.

Strepp is our abbreviation for student representative and includes all students who are appointed to programme councils, decision-making meetings and other bodies. A strepp can be a student at first-, second-, or thirdcycle levels.

As we said last term, we have translated the handbook for student representatives. Now you can also find it on our website!
The handbook is meant to be used as an encyclopedia but if you want to get more out of it, we recommend our education for student representatives.

These rules only apply to student representatives at the first- and secondcycle levels. Students at thirdcycle levels are usually compensated with time.
During the autumn, there has been som changes regarding the remuneration and we would therefore like to give you a thorough review on what rules apply. The review is divided into three parts: 1) remuneration for meeting up to and including 2022-09-30, 2) remuneration for meetings from 2022-10-01 to and including 2022-12-31, 3) remuneration for meetings from 2023-01-01. If you have already sent in remuneration forms for the autumn, you can disregard the first two, because the financial administrators should have contacted you if they thought there was an issue.
If you have not received payments from the university before, you must first register your account details. You will find instructions for this a little further down on this page, under the heading "Payroll bank" (on this site you will also find all the forms).
1) Download the remuneration form (Excel).
2) Under "Type of assignment", select the option you select ”Student rep in decision-making body. Part of day”, which is almost at the bottom. ("Part of day" applies to meetings up to four hours, but for longer meetings, pick the option "Student rep in decision-making body. Full day")
3) Under "Number", enter the number of meetings (part of day or full day, depending on the meeting) and not the number of hours.
4) Save and send the filled out form to the financial administrator at your faculty with a copy to the convener of the group/body. (Contact representant@linnek.se if you are unsure who you shuold send the form to.)

Please note that SFS will not hold any SSO trainings or networking meetings during Spring 2023. We refer to the upcoming SSO handbook as well as SFS's Slack channel #sso-nätverk-för-studerandeskyddsombud, as well as education supervisor Eric who is also the main student protection representative.

There are almost always interesting positions to apply to if you want to get more involved and learn more about the university's various functions. (NOTE: many positions require that you can understand written and spoken Swedish) Right now we are mainly looking for student representatives for:
- most programme councils at the faculty of life and health sciences
- many education councils and heads' of department decision-making meetings at the faculty of social sciences
- the doctoral supervisory committee for economics and statistics at the school of business and economics
- the unit for postgraduate education at the faculty of technology
- many heads' of departments decision-making meetings at the faculty of art and humanities
...and student safety representatives for:
- all faculties (since we will reset the system and dismiss all SSO from their current positions)
If you are interested in educational issues on a deeper level, keep an eye out on our channels for when the student union election opens for nominations. You can apply to the board either as a part-timer or as a full-timer. Full-timers need to be able to understand Swedish.
