A word from the Academic Vice President of Higher Education Ewa Ehrenborg

Just a month has passed since the start of the semester and I want to take this opportunity to welcome you all to a new spring semester at Karolinska Institutet!

These first weeks have given me a glimpse of what my new assignment as Academic Vice President of Higher Education will entail. It was with great joy and anticipation that I attended the introduction ceremony to welcome new students to KI. I have also had the opportunity to meet some of our student representatives for interesting discussions, not least in connection with the Minister for Education's visit to KI last week. It is central and important that you as students get involved to influence the education here at. Your ideas are needed.

I look forward to further developing the conditions for education here at KI together with you.
