Among all cartilage lesions, there is a group who does no longer respond to conservative and/or biological treament options and often - due to the patient's focal lesion, the limited size of the lesion or younger age - a unilateral or total knee arthroplasty is not an option either.

Episurf Medical offers your patients a proven and effective solution for their knee pain and helps them get back to their former active way of life!

Do you agree with the treatment gap?

A succesfull Episealer Masterclass

On 14 and 15 June, Episurf held its 2nd Episealer Masterclass in Sigtuna (Stockholm), Sweden. An international faculty guided the delegates through the history and current status of knee cartilage research and how Episealer has become a proven and accepted treatment option for patient with focal chondral and osteochondral lesions in the knee. Dr Pieter Emans, University Hospital of Maastricht (Netherlands), presented the latest update of the clinical follow-up.

'Once again we noticed that the concept of an Episealer Masterclass is very appreciated and we will develop the concept further to give all delegates a state-of-the-art experience to learn more about cartilage and Episealer. In order to meet the demand and give more delegates the opportunity to attend, we are already planning our next masterclass' says Pål Ryfors, CEO at Episurf Medical.

'We were happy to see that the trend of an increasing number of visitors to the Episurf stand continued. New for this year was though the increasing interest for Episealer outside our exisiting markets', says Göran Martinsson, International Sales Director, who was present at the three meetings.
