This autumn, Regionteater Väst is touring with two collaborative productions, built around different themes: TILL VILKET PRIS? (Who pays the bill?) is created together with Compagnie les Maladroits and blends object theatre with dance. Together, we unravel our clothing consumption - its production and its ecological footprint - to weave a new relationship with fashion and fast fashion. The receipt, especially the receipt roll, becomes a metaphor for excess and overconsumption. How did we end up here? What do we do with all these clothes?
The second production, TAJMING (Timing), is made in collaboration with TUBO – Tobias Ulfvebrand & Hugo Therkelson. It's a classroom performance that swings between perfectly timed order and total chaos. Both productions are touring schools and will also appear at festivals and other stages, including Göteborgskalaset, the Gothenburg Dance and Theatre Festival, House of Possibilitas, and more.

On 29 Aug 2026, Byström Källblad premieres the new work SHE KNOWS at Karmasbo smedja in Skinnskatteberg (SE). In an old smithy in the rural ex-mining area of Bergslagen, Byström Källblad gathers dancers and singers for an excavation of treasures through body and voice. Choreography, a four-thousand-year-old text by the poet Enheduanna, the oldest text known to man, and music by Kassia come together in a heartfelt, poetic performance that asks questions of the past and the future about power, riches, and direction. Will this heart be pleased? SHE KNOWS is a music collaboration with Siri Flensburg and Elin Oskarsson. For the full credits list and additional information, please go here.
This is the third work in a trilogy starting with CITY HORSES, followed by CALLING WE ARE HERE, about female power and representation present throughout history.
SHE KNOWS is presented by Kultera Korpens Vänner, Skinnskattebergs Kammarmusikförening and Karmansbo Bruksmiljö. Supported by Kulturrådet, Stockholms stad, Region Västmanland, Region Stockholm, Konstnärsnämnden, and produktionsresidens SITE Stockholm 2026, Leader Bergslagen.
The performance CITY HORSES tours to Bratislava (SK) and is presented by Bratislava in Movement International Festival of Contemporary Dance, the largest international festival of contemporary dance in Slovakia, on 12-13 Sept 2026.

Núx is the ancient Greek word for night, while brúx derives from a root meaning teeth grinding. Together they form Núx brúx – a poetic description of nocturnal teeth grinding: a body that refuses to rest, a friction that continues through the darkness.
In Greek choreographer Chara Kotsali’s physical and sonic dance ritual, the night becomes a space of resistance, desire, and longing. Together with Norrdans’ international ensemble, a carnivalesque world unfolds. Here, the night marks the beginning of a new day rather than the end of the previous one. The piece pays tribute to nocturnal interspecies alliances and the rebellious economies of the night.

Helena Franzén will tour Sweden in September with her retrospective work HERE–US–NOW SECOND, presented by Dancenet Sweden.
With HERE-US-NOW SECOND, Helena Franzén opens the door to her choreographic archive of memory—a work that encapsulates over 30 years of artistic practice. Franzén, one of Sweden's most influential choreographers in contemporary dance, has since the 1990s developed a unique and precise movement language marked by exceptional intensity and presence.
In this retrospective performance, works from the mid-90s to the present are reimagined in a new staging featuring Franzén herself and the original ensemble. Together, they embody a living dance archive where movements are not merely reproduced, but remembered, translated, and reinterpreted.
HERE-US-NOW SECOND is a tribute to dance's ability to preserve, convey, and transform. A rare opportunity to experience Swedish dance history in motion, through a choreographer whose artistry is defined by precision and a deep sensitivity to the body's stories. THE SWAMP is an immersive performance about the Internet, receiving its Swedish premiere at the Theatre Atalante in Gothenburg, Sweden, on 26–28 Nov 2026. The performance explores the darker side of the digital world, exposing the pitfalls of the Internet and the manipulation and violence that often remain hidden beneath the surface, under the radar on the dark Internet.
You are invited into an alluring, mysterious, and wildly growing swamp. On the way, you lose your sense of direction and must therefore take responsibility for the way forward through the swamp. But who decides the rules of the game? And is it even a game, or is it the harsh reality? With and by performance artists Annika B. Lewis and Helene Kvint. On 29 Aug 2026 GJENSTAND OG FORTVILELSE (Object and despair) will play at the MOVE Dance Festival, Teater Innlandet, Hamar (NO). Already on 28 Aug 2026, Ingun Bjørnsgaard and dancer Catharina Vehre Gresslien will share a PRODA workshop for young dancers.
In OBJECT AND DESPAIR, human fallibility is examined in close collaboration with dancers Edith Strand Askeland, Ludvig Daae, Catharina Vehre Gresslien, and composer and musician Jan Martin Smørdal live on stage.
Klassekampen’s critic wrote: “The new work by the master of Norwegian contemporary dance is a cultural event – and a digital detox.” And Dagsavisen called the performance “a fun, unpredictable and wild play with our different social roles.”

The Finnish premiere of the Finnish-Lithuanian co-production SUPERTHING will take place on 8–9 Sept 2026 in Helsinki, Finland. The production invites audiences into a captivating world where reality and imagination intertwine, blurring the boundaries between the familiar and the unexpected.
SUPERTHING is a rare opportunity to witness seven top‑tier artists from Finland and Lithuania sharing the same stage. Awakening choreography, a layered soundscape, and constantly shifting visual worlds create a living landscape where longing and hope breathe side by side. The space and the bodies tremble with untold stories that echo through suspended moments. The work invites the audience to sense: what has been lost, what remains, and what might still be possible.

On 5 Sept 2026, KLANGKRAFT is hosted by Kunsthall Grenland through the project Kunstløypa mellem bruene, initiated by Kunsthall Grenland in collaboration with Porsgrunn municipality, presenting Kunstløypa market and celebration at the Porsgrund Porcelain Factory in Porsgrunn (NO). Read more here.
The process of making porcelain objects is embodied by dancers Virpi Pahkinen and Pontus Sundset in the performance KLANGKRAFT, which was first presented at the Gustavsberg Porcelain Factory in Sweden in 2025. The music was specially composed by Kajsa Lindgren, and the sound from plates, bowls, and jugs is performed by percussionists Mike Takehara and Ludvig Nilsson.
The international success performance DEEP TIME played to a packed crowd at Malmö Summer Festival on 7 Aug 2026. DEEP TIME has been performed in Belgium, Canada, Germany, and Latvia, and the theme of the Earth's geological time appeals to audiences of all ages, regardless of their prior familiarity with dance.

This summer, KORDA celebrates 15 years at Matsesgården in Stigsbo (SE) with a vibrant program of visual art and performance. The festivities began with a group exhibition in Gallery Klingbyggningen, featuring paintings, mixed media, prints, and ceramics by Catharina Bauer, Birgitta Boholm, Lars Boberg, Gudrun Westerlund, Håkan Blomkvist, Karin Björnsdotter, Maria Hamberg, Marie Noree, and Lou T. Lundqvist. The exhibition closes on 6 Sept 2026.
The celebration continued in August with the world premiere of SILVER on 13 Aug 2026, with additional performances on 14-15 Aug 2026. SILVER is a new collaboration by Julyen Hamilton, Linda Forsman, Lou T. Lundqvist, and Eleni Pantazatou. Internationally acclaimed choreographer Julyen Hamilton will also lead a workshop on 15–16 Aug 2026.

STILL IN THE AIR — the company's new production — takes inspiration from magnetism, airy moments, spirals, and pendulums. The performance unfolds through a choreographic dialogue between Claire Parsons and Viktor Gyllenberg.
STILL IN THE AIR is a development and refinement of Claire Parsons Co.'s artistic world on stage. It draws inspiration from the neurodiverse and the polyphonic, where all elements are given equal value, offering the audience multiple tones and levels to relate to, interpret, and puzzle out.
Animated objects are highlighted, as always, in Claire Parsons' performances. When using both choreography and juggling techniques, the process entails exploring different patterns and collisions. This provides the development of a performance that makes visible the proximity of chaos and order.

After a summer break, Jukka Korpi is back in the studio, rehearsing his new solo SURU – SORROW for the international Solo Dance Contest in the Gdansk Dance Festival (PL), where it will premiere from 14- 17 Sept 2026. The piece will then be performed in Eskilstuna (SE) on 13 Oct 2026 and at 3 Våningen in Gothenburg (SE) on 23 Oct 2026, with more dates to follow.
Jukka’s solo for children and young audiences, FLYGANDE – FLYING, will also be performed in Eskilstuna (SE) on 13 Oct 2026, with additional autumn dates to be announced.
During the summer, Korpi also began research for ÅRSTID – SEASON, a long-term outdoor solo production set to premiere in summer 2027 at Snösätra Kulturpark in Stockholm (SE). More details will follow.

Two strong scenic universes meet at the Confidencen– Ulriksdal Palace Theatre in Stockholm (SE) in a charged dance evening on 26-27 Sept 2026, where experience, virtuosity and contemporary expression intersect. Choreographer and dancer Charlotta Öfverholm shares the stage with Stockholm 59° North – soloists from the Royal Ballet in a program that moves between physical intensity, musicality and poetic precision. Öfverholm performs IN A CAGE OF LIGHT with Jordi Cortes, a legendary dancer from DV8 Physical Theatre, where the limitations of the body and the fragility of life are put at stake.
