Microsoft 365 Price Increase and upcoming add-on!
Microsoft will increase the prices of the following subscriptions on July 1st (Microsoft 365 Business Premium is not affected):
• Microsoft Business Basic +14%
• Microsoft Business Standard +11%
• Office 365 E3 +12%
• Microsoft 365 E3 +8%
• Microsoft 365 E5 +5%
• Microsoft 365 F1 +25%
• Microsoft 365 F3 20%
Some subscriptions will have Defender for Office 365 Plan 1 added (Office 365 E3 and Microsoft 365 E3) “The changes will apply globally with local market adjustments for commercial products…”.
We interpret this as the introduction of Defender for Office 365 Plan 1 will take place on July 1st.

Extended Security Updates - ESUs!
New ESUs will be released on October 13, 2026 and January 12, 2027 for Windows 10 Enterprise LTSB and Windows Server 2016.
October 13: Windows 10 Enterprise LTSB 2016
• Customers are recommended to upgrade to Windows 10 LTSC 2021 or Windows 11 LTSC 2024.
• Extended Security Updates will also be available for three years, which will cost $61 per year per device. The price doubles each year, so it will cost $244 per device in year three
January 12, 2027: Windows Server 2016
• Customers are recommended to upgrade to Windows Server 2025
• Extended Security Updates will be available (as of January 13, 2027) for three years. Prices have not yet been announced by Microsoft, but will be released when support ends.
