Following the highly successful summer tour to Kalamata International Dance Festival and ImPulsTanz – Vienna International Dance Festival, Damien Jalet’s THRICE returns to Norway and Bærum Kulturhus, where it will play on 24-25 Sept 2025. More info and tickets here.
The production marks a new chapter in the collaboration between Damien Jalet and Nagelhus Schia Productions (NSP), following their critically acclaimed 2020 project DUELS at the Vigeland Museum in Oslo. That performance was later adapted into a film by director Jonas Åkerlund, which is currently being screened at film festivals around the world.
This piece, like its name suggests, is a triptych. The number three is an important one, both in the work of Damien Jalet and in the references he cites, from Greek tragedy to Japanese theatre, mathematics to religion; past, present, and future, body, mind, and soul; matter, time, and space.

In today's fast-changing world, where uncertainty often shapes our reality, MYLLER reflects on how we adapt, connect, and create meaning together.
The dancers are constantly confronted with emerging landscapes, where various challenges and surprises push the group to find temporary solutions and binding agreements. This ongoing evolution reveals moments of strength and vulnerability, playfulness and conflict, risk and resilience. Even the young audience will have a chance to take the lead in a subsequent unfolding of the space. Through games and tasks, they too will face some of the challenges and collective strategies explored during the performance. Choreography by Heidi Vierthaler in collaboration with the dancers. Music byTom van Wee.
MYLLER premieres at Studio, Malmö (SE) on 16 Sep 2025 and performs for schools and regular audiences during the fall. Click here for full credits. For tickets, go here.

In the dance piece AIR BODY SAD, British-American choreographer Malik Nashad Sharpe and Norrdans invite the audience into a world of dark fantasy and horror, where every movement is a struggle between despair and hope. Through rhythmic and intense choreography, the work explores the boundaries of the body and what happens when it moves at the intersection of haunted margins and glittering pop culture.
The work is infused with the raw fragility of coming-of-age films, reflecting that time in life when everything feels uncertain, overwhelming, too close. A time when the body reaches for belonging and carries an inner rebellion that refuses to be tamed.
The piece will have its world premiere on 4 Oct 2025 in Härnösand (SE), followed by a tour. AIR BODY SAD is part of the celebration of Norrdans' 30th anniversary. More info at norrdans.se”The body is in flight even when sunken within the darkest hour”

CALLING WE ARE HERE will be performed at Uppsala Culture Night on 13 Sep 2025 at the Uppsala Art Museum (SE). CALLING WE ARE HERE celebrates the power that, in the shadows, has taken girls and women through challenges throughout history and continues to do so every day. An open-air dance, a vocal performance proposing a new kind of feminist folk dance, expressing experiences shared across countries rather than a national identity. A greeting from today, of solidarity, to future generations. It sweeps across the town square, infiltrates, dominates, and invites you in. The performed vocals draw from the tradition of female vocalization, "kulning," dating back to the Middle Ages and once practiced by women in the borderlands of Sweden, Norway, and Finland. Read more and watch a trailer here.

In the performance DEEP TIME, five dancers take us on a journey through the layers of time. Virpi Pahkinen invites the audience through shifting forms—from the birth of the first prehistoric creatures to the club dance floor— all set to the sounds of Hildegard von Bingen’s medieval songs and shimmering marimba techno. Örjan Abrahamsson, Dagens Nyheter (SE) “Virpi Pahkinen triumphs in DEEP TIME” … “Virpi Pahkinen’s artistry highlights the ritualistic qualities and beauty of dance.” Anna Ångström, Svenska Dagbladet (SE)
The outdoor performance is hosted by the Stockholm summer theatre, Parkteatern, and will play for an audience of thousands at the great amphitheatre in Vitabergsparken in Stockholm (SE).

Dance Theatre Minimi's artistic director and choreographer, Taneli Törmä, is inspired by human connection, touch, and relationships. ORANGE is a dance performance created for everyone, especially for children aged 4 to 9 and the adults in their lives.
The project draws inspiration from Reidar Särestöniemi's 1967 painting, Kielto ja Kaipaus. In the painting, two bears are seen embracing in an orange field. It's a playful and caring image – the orange color can symbolize shared connection, understanding, and respect for one another.
The work began during the Silence Residency in the village of Kaukonen (FI) in August 2024, and will premiere at the Särestöniemi Museum in Kaukonen on 1 Aug 2025. The performance is part of the Reidar100 anniversary program. Read more here.
ORANGE on tour in Finland: 13 Aug 2025 Kuusamotalo, Kuusamo (FI), 15 Aug 2025 Joen Yö -festivaali, Joensuu (FI)
