The NUFAM Karlsruhe trade fair together with Suer Nutzfahrzeugstechnik GmbH & Co was a great success. Trade fairs are a fantastic opportunity to meet customers, partners and stakeholders in our Industry. In November you can find us both at Transport CH in Bern, Switzerland together with PWP, and at Solutrans 2023 in Lyon, France.
For the 8th edition of the NUFAM fair, the organizer’s focus was on innovative power and sustainable and future-oriented technologies. From our view we found that both heavy range and smaller electrical vehicles were well represented, and load securing, and accessories were of interest from the visitors. There was great interest shown in our new solutions presented for both the heavy truck segment and the light commercial vehicle segment, like our new K20 pendulum pillar for tippers and the extended T50 range. the K9 concept for the medium commercial vehicle segment got a lot of attention. We look forward to the following up with all the contacts we made during the fair.
The success at NUFAM also brought the opportunity to attend Transport CH in Bern, Switzerland with our local partners PWP SA on the 8-11th November.
Solutrans 2023 will then take place 21-25th November in Lyon, France. There are large expectations on more than 57,000 visitors and over 900 exhibitors. To be as well represented as possible for all the exciting meetings, we will join with people from our Technical Department, Marketing and Sales. Representing the French market, are our new partners Resma and Blueflex, and our products will be found at their stand.

Our C10 curtainsider range has been around since the late 1990’s. It has been developed from a simpler pillar to a module-based pillar system with a market leading functionality,
contributing to product and user safety.
Where other solutions require many different steps and great caution to avoid risk of injuries, our C10 has all functions in one handle and can be operated with a single-handed grip. Read more on the leverage effect below in “This month’s Safety”.
|
The extended wide-covering range for the T50 system with side and rear pillars, will facilitate the possibility for extensions / tarpaulin structures and provides the possibilities for integration with other solutions on the market.
Throughout the years it has been a first-hand choice for many known brands within light commercial vehicles.

What’s going on at Kinnegrip? Kinnegrip’s project in Poland continues. The Kostrzyn facility contract is signed, and so is also the recruitment of two key roles. We really look forward to seeing them for onboarding in Sweden beginning of 2024. The project will continue to follow the plan during the first quarter of 2024 with a lot of work to make sure that personnel, logistics and systems are up and running. We aim to learn from each other’s culture and make sure that we work in a way that feels familiar to our global customers and partners, regardless of being situated in Sweden or in Poland.
At Kinnegrip we put great focus on safety in our daily work. At our PULSE-meetings every morning we address what is happening in the company. We want to ensure that all personnel know how important they are, and how important it is that they always report any observed risks or occurred accidents. We want to discover the smallest things to be able to invest and adjust to create an everyday safe workplace.

We would like to zoom in on two smart functions. First on the leverage effect for the C10 Curtainsider pillar, and then on the load indicator for the K20 range. Both these solutions have a great impact on making load handling as easy and safe as possible.
When the C10 pillar is released, the top of the trailer roof becomes loose, but with the leverage effect from the handle’s lowest position, the driver can use a single-handed grip to push up the roof again in a simple operation from the ground. And with the addition of a spring connection at the top, it is perceived as an almost weightless movement.
The wide K20 Dropside lock pillar range has a lot of clever solutions designed for flatbed vehicles in the medium and heavy range. The load indicator prevents unintentional or risky operation by indicating pressure on the inside of the dropside panel due to load displacement. A small addition making a large impact concerning everyday safety.
